The Eye is an American Real Life Superhero who also doubles as a certified private investigator, author, inventor, martial arts instructor, electronic security systems designer, and former Neighborhood Watch Block captain (now a member of Dog Walker Watch, in his new town of Newark, CA, along with his wife, Lady Mystery). He is known for fighting and preventing crime using gadgetry of his own making, utilizing his Silicon Valley techie background from well before there was an Internet. The Eye has also written a handbook to help those starting out as RLSHs entitled, "So You Want To Be A Crime-Fighter?" He is based in Newark, California and works with his wife, Lady Mystery.[1]

HistoryEdit

The Eye's gadgetry background came from a childhood of tinkering alongside his father and then, in the employ of an unnamed Silicon Valley company.[2] The Eye became a certified private investigator after graduating from the Global School of Investigation in Nashua, New Hampshire in 1989.[3]

He first surfaced in the press as a RLSH when he is mentioned in passing in the Rolling Stones article focused on Master Legend by Josh Bearman in 2008. He has also made an appearance in the 2011 HBO documentary by Michael Barnett on RLSH titled "Superheroes."[citation needed]
